executive coaching

This is a one-on-one engagement where the full focus is on you and your growth. We create a space where you are recognized as the expert in you. With my guidance, you are in control of the content of our work, while I control the process. Our work may focus on any combination of leadership, management, self-awareness, emotional intelligence, mindfulness or any other area unique to you and your situation. We will work together in building a deeper understanding of yourself, your drives and motivations, and your unique strengths. This will also include identifying those overt and covert processes, which may be getting in the way of you advancing your potential. We will then develop an actionable and measurable plan for your continued growth.

group coaching

This is a cost effective and efficient way to reach a number of professionals who share some commonality within an organization. We will work together as a group to identify strengths and weaknesses, determine which to focus on, then develop an actionable and measurable plan which can include individual as well as shared goals. This is a powerful environment where we will work with the group dynamic to increase the learning and growth of the individual and the collective. A strong focus on accountability, self awareness and emotional intelligence lends to the continued and sustained nature of the work that is possible in a group engagement.

veteran coaching

Our military and law enforcement veterans who have transitioned to the private sector bring with them some specific and unique strengths and challenges. They often experience difficulty with the significant transition to the private sector and it can take months or years to adjust. This culture shock can manifest in many ways, including difficulty with communication, role structure, and expectations; a sense of loss of mission; and a lack of camaraderie. Just as important is working with the veterans coworkers in dispelling any misconceptions and biases and helping educate them on the unique values and qualities many veterans poses. (Studies) show that approximately 50% of veterans leave their first private sector job within the first year and 65% within the first two years. A good retention initiative that includes veteran specific coaching can be a significant factor in reducing these poor retention rates.

change management consulting

Change Management is about providing you with the tools needed in order to implement the change you desire in the least disruptive, most efficient and effective way. This can (and really should) look different for each situation, though there will be some commonalities. We will diagnose where you’re at and where you want to go—exploring the known and uncovering the unknown. We'll map out a process that is right for you, promote a culture of engagement and inclusion, and facilitate clear and consistent communication. Change Leadership is about having vision and driving the change you want. It’s about taking calculated risks (after all, change won’t happen without some disruption!). It’s about identifying the inevitable resistance you’ll encounter and having the wherewithal to use it as a strategic asset. While it may seem somewhat counterintuitive to want change to be nondisruptive and yet engage a disruptive engine of change leadership, both are needed but it's important to maintain a balance, which I can help you achieve.
