exploration

The first step to any successful engagement starts with being open to and honest about the journey we are about to embark upon. This initially hinges on establishing whether we are a good fit for each other. Once we decide that we not only can work together but also want to work with one another, we will explore the boundaries of what that work will look like by establishing our own ground rules. Some, such as confidentiality, are a given. The rest we will establish together.

Investigation

Next we begin an excavation process. We start at the surface with what is known and understood in its current state. We then start to dig using various tools to uncover different perspectives, hidden truths, and covert processes. These tools— which we will decide together whether or not to use—can include 360 feedback, personality and/or emotional intelligence assessments as well as our own investigative conversations. All are approached with honesty and compassion with your personal growth as the primary objective.

Implementation

Using our new found knowledge and understanding we will co-create a plan that is actionable and measurable. This plan will utilize your existing strengths to improve upon your identified challenge areas. This will get you where you want to go as a leader, a manager and a human.

Executive COACHING

This is one-on-one engagement where the full attention is on you and your growth. Our work may focus on any combination of areas, including leadership, management, self-awareness, emotional intelligence, mindfulness or any other area unique to you and your situation. We will work together to identify strengths and weaknesses, then develop an actionable and measurable development plan.

Group COACHING

This is a cost effective and efficient way to reach a number of professionals who share some commonality within an organization. We will work together as a group to identify strengths and weaknesses, determine which to focus on, then develop an actionable and measurable plan which can include individual as well as shared goals.

veteran coaching

Our military and law enforcement veterans who have transitioned to the private sector bring with them unique strengths and challenges. I work with veterans in either individual or group engagements depending on the needs of the client. When appropriate, I also include those who work alongside the veterans, employing a model of inclusivity. Focus areas can include addressing cultural dissonance, mission, and teaming, as well as dispelling misconceptions and biases about veterans—with a goal toward improving not only the employee’s potential but also their retention.

Change Management

Whether your organization or team is initiating an intentional change or you’re experiencing an unexpected one, the path forward can be daunting. When facing such issues, I focus on organizational culture, team cohesion, and change leadership initiatives to help diagnose the problem and shepherd you through a resolution. Together we’ll examine the nuts and bolts of making the transition as well as the vision and driving force behind it.
